Having risen through the ranks at the Southampton academy, Ryan made an appearance for the first team in January 2015 as a second half substitute in the FA Cup 4th round home defeat to Crystal Palace. After loan spells with clubs including Crewe Alexandra and MK Dons during his pro spell with 'The Saints', Ryan signed permanently for his home town side, Yeovil Town, in 2019. The following summer he made the switch to Hungerford Town, where he has been in prolific form. Ryan scored 14 goals in 19 games before the 2020/21 season was brought to an early conclusion, going on to then score 27 league goals this past campaign, finishing joint 2nd in the race for the division's golden boot. Wanderers fans will no doubt be aware of Ryan's qualities as the striker has performed well in recent fixture's between the two sides, with Marc White adding:

"Ryan is one of the most inform strikers in Non-League football, he has a serious pedigree & is potent in front of goal, he is a big signing for Dorking Wanderers"
