WANDERERS ANNOUNCE PRICE CAP FOR SUPPORTER AWAY TRAVEL

Dorking Wanderers have today announced that supporter away travel will be capped at £20 for all remaining away fixtures in the 2022-23 season. The club has done this to ensure that all away trips are affordable for supporters, regardless of distance. There are 13 remaining away fixtures with supporter coach travel scheduled, including:

Southend United – 12th November

Chesterfield – 10th December

Wrexham – 25th February

Notts County – 11th March

York City – 18th March

Yeovil Town – 10th April

Manager Marc White said: “Our away support has been nothing short of superb this season, with the Wanderers fans travelling in big numbers to watch us all over the country. A record number of over 500 followed us to Woking on Tuesday night, which is nothing short of incredible. They truly are our 12th man, and this initiative is our way of saying thank you for their amazing support”.

Executive Director Kris Lea commented: “At a time where so many people are understandably worried about their finances, we as a club have to ensure that following the Wanderers both home and away is cost effective. Our ticket pricing for home games is already up there with the cheapest in the National League, and we’re also keen to ensure that coach travel is affordable for fans who wish to join us on the road, regardless of distance. The away travel price cap has been put in place so fans can plan and commit to away games between now and season end, and look forward to visiting some fantastic clubs and stadiums in our maiden season as a National League club”.

With immediate effect every Wanderers away game is set at a flat £20 on the official supporters coach, and seats can be booked (on a first come, first served basis) via the link below: https://dwfc-online-shop.myshopify.com/collections/away-travel Note: Any supporters who have forward booked away travel at the old rates are asked to email info@dorkingwanderers.com so credit can be applied where applicable to future away journeys.
