PRE-SEASON SCHEDULE FOR 23/24 CONFIRMED

Dorking Wanderers are today pleased to announce their first team pre-season schedule ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.



Saturday July 8th

Walton & Hersham (H)

3pm


Wanderers will kick off pre-season by hosting recently crowned Isthmian South Central Division play-off winners Walton & Hersham. Defeating Hanworth Villa 3-1 in the final contested just this past Sunday, The Swans promotion was their third in a row, a feat only achieved by 7 other sides in English football pyramid history.



Tuesday July 11th Surrey Advertiser Trophy Leatherhead (H)

7:45pm


For the first time since it's re-launch in 2019, the annual Surrey Advertiser Trophy match against Mole Valley rivals Leatherhead will be contested under the lights in Wanderers first midweek fixture of pre-season.



Saturday July 15th

Mousehole AFC (A)

3pm


This year's venture further afield sees Wanderers head to the South West of the country to face Mousehole AFC, who have just been promoted to the Southern League Division One (Step 4) for the first time in their history after winning the Western League Premier Division.



Saturday July 22nd

Bognor Regis Town (A)

3pm


Having last met two years ago in the pre-season of 2021, Marc White's team return to the Nye Camp to face Isthmian Premier Division side Bognor Regis Town, former stomping ground of the likes of Sami-El Abd, Jimmy Muitt and Jason Prior, as well as where Cameron Black and Joe Rabbetts have played their football this past season on loan from Wanderers.



Tuesday July 25th

Horsham (H)

7:45pm


Postponed during last pre-season's schedule, Wanderers welcome Isthmian Premier Division outfit Horsham FC to Meadowbank for their penultimate warm up fixture, the side's having met in a few friendlies in recent seasons including midway through this last campaign.



Friday July 28th

Farnborough (A)

7:45pm


After meeting at Meadowbank last summer, Wanderers will finish pre-season preparations ahead of 23/24 with a visit to National League South side Farnborough, who have consolidated in their first season back at Step 2 this term with a 12th placed finish.
