New Signing Matt Everitt

Dorking Wanderers are today pleased to announce the signing of striker Matt Everitt following the player's departure from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Matt, 20, joined the Sussex club in 2016 after being a youth player with Brentford for a number of years, continuing his development before going on to feature for and captain The Seagulls U18s side on a regular basis throughout the 2021/21 campaign.

Capped by the Republic of Ireland at U17 and U19 level, in recent seasons Matt has featured for the Brighton U23s side in the Premier League 2, and now makes the move into senior football with his local side:

"I'm really excited to join and be involved with this team. Being local, I have seen the journey Marc and his team have been on and it is incredible, so I cannot wait to become part of it."

Manager Marc White adds: "Matt has had a really illustrious youth career, he has been with Brighton & Hove Albion for a number of years including playing under Mark Beard. A versatile player, Matt is a young pro who can play in numerous positions on the field, he is hard working and best of all he is a local lad who understands what the club is about. This is another signing for us which also looks to bring down the average age of our group as we look towards the mid-term and long term future."
