DWFC MEDIA TEAM 23/24
Ahead of the new season getting under way imminently, Dorking Wanderers can confirm a revised media team will be in place for the upcoming campaign.
Club Digital Marketing & Content Manager Ollie Gout has led the media team over the past three seasons and will do so again in 23/24, and will continue to be supported in the role by Media Assistant and Club Academy Secretary Dan Stobbart, who begins his fifth season contributing work to the football club.
Following the departure of long-term club commentator Gary Pascoe at the end of last season, it has been confirmed that Tom Rogers will continue to provide official commentary for the football club in the new campaign. Tom frequently assisted Gary on commentary duties throughout last season and also covered a number of games on his own when Gary was absent, providing an excellent continued service for supporters during a campaign where the club commentary also had to be provided for the newly introduced National League TV streaming service. Tom has and will continue to assist with the production of pre and post match interviews with manager Marc White and first team players, as well as providing general media operations support on matchday's as well. As a local supporter and ambassador of Dorking Wanderers, the football club is delighted Tom will continue to provide commentary for the new season.
At this time Dorking Wanderers can also confirm Stu McAllister will be the club's Official Photographer for 23/24. At the end of last season, long-term Official Club Photographer and Supporter Liaison Officer Steve O'Sullivan stepped down from his role after several years of dedicated, fantastic service to the football club. Often working alongside Steve or covering in his absence on a matchday, in addition to providing great coverage of the first team, Stu also covered the majority of the Wanderers B team home games last term as well. This coverage and support was greatly appreciated by the club, documenting a memorable campaign for Ruben Gaspar's side which featured a number of the club's rising Academy stars. Immensely grateful for Stu's work on a matchday, the football club is very much looking forward to working with Stu again in 23/24.
A new member of the media team for next season is Zac Welshman, who will provide written content, including brand new features, via the club's website, social media outlets and match day programme. Having contributed great work for Corinthian Casuals last season, the club would like to extend a warm welcome to Zac and look forward to welcoming him to Wanderers matches in the upcoming weeks.
The football club would also like to welcome Ben Dillon to the matchday team for the upcoming season as Matchday Merchandise Manager. A Marketing Assistant intern with the club last season, Ben provided great work across all levels of the football club and always carried out his duties and work with a positive outlook and attitude. The club are delighted Ben is continuing to support and assist the football in 23/24 as Matchday Merchandise Manager.
Looking ahead to the club's second season in the National League Premier, Ollie Gout adds the following:
"I am looking forward to an exciting season ahead with a great team. Tom and Stu were already key members and will continue to be so. Zac will also provide some well needed support with our written content across the season."
