Slav Huk

Slovakian keeper in his 6th season with Wanderers having joined in 2015 from VSS Kosice. Slav is a real fans favourite and was our player of the year in 2017 and 2018. A fantastic shot stopper and penalty saving expert, he will always be a club legend thanks to his Isthmian League Division 1 play-offs heroics.

Sam Howes

Originally brought in on loan last season to cover for the injured Slav, Sam soon impressed, and his move was made permanent. Sam played his youth football at Crystal Palace and West Ham before signing for Premier League Watford and has also played for the England U16, 17, 18, and 19 levels as well as the C team.

Defenders

Ben Dyett

Now in his 6th season Ben is an intelligent centre back with strength in the air who reads the game well. Previously with AFC Hayes and Chipstead, Ben made some notable performances last season including the FA Trophy win away at Stockport and the play-off victory away at Bath.

Callum Kennedy

One of our newest recruits, Callum signed for us towards the end of last season (2019-20). An ex professional having made over 250 appearances for several league teams including Swindon, Scunthorpe, AFC Wimbledon and Orient, Callum joined us from Billericay and adds football league experience to the backbone of the team.

Barry signed in August 2020 from Gillingham following his second spell at the League 1 club where he made a total of 195 appearances either side of playing 205 games for AFC Wimbledon. Barry was made club captain ahead of the 2020/21 campaign commencing.

Experienced centre back Sami is now starting his 3rd season with the club. He joined Wanderers from Bognor Regis at the start of the 2018-2019 campaign and was our captain throughout that title winning season. Formally with Whitehawk, Chelmsford and Hayes & Yeading, Sami now teaches at the Brighton & Hove Academy.

Sam Beard

Sam signed for us in 2016 and is now in his 5th season with the club. Sam was previously at Horsham and Loxwood having graduated from the successful Brighton Academy. A tenacious left footed wing back, he has twice been named our young player of the year.

Isaac Philpot

Having grown up in Dorking, local lad Isaac signed in July 2018 from Welsh Premier League team Cardiff Metropolitan. Now in his 3rd season, Isaac was ever present throughout the last campaign where he gave equally accomplished performances in a right-wing back position or at the centre of defence.

Formerly with QPR, AFC Wimbledon and Dover Athletic, Ed joined us at the start of 19 -20 season from Havant & Waterlooville where he was part of their National League South promotion winning team. Ed’s experience at the heart of our defence and his strong captaincy were key factors in us achieving a play-off finishing position last season.

Kane Wills

Well known as a box to box midfielder with a great engine, Kane joined us from Eastbourne Borough having previously played for Brighton having come up through their Academy, as well as Ebbsfleet and Bognor Regis.

Starting his 2nd season with Dorking, Jake is another that brings football league experience to our squad having previously been with Millwall and Aldershot. Jake joined us in May 2019 and played a vital role in last season’s play-off campaign. In addition to continuing his playing career, Jake also manages our U18 team.

Jerome Beckles

Our longest serving player Jerome has been with the club for ten years. He has climbed through the levels of non league football with us and has been instrumental in many of our promotion winning seasons. Although appearances have been limited in the last couple of seasons, Jerome is a vital part of our squad.

Niall McManus

One of several ex Tanners currently in our squad, Niall is starting his 3rd season with the club having joined us from Leatherhead in 2018. The former Carshalton, Millwall and Hayes & Yeading player, Niall was in fine form throughout last season and justifiably won both our Supporters and Committee Player of the Year Awards as well as scoring our goal of the season in the FA Trophy victory against Stockport County.

Luke Moore

Luke is now in his 4th season with Dorking having previously played league football with 168 appearances for AFC Wimbledon as well as receiving a call up to the England C team. Early on in his career he also made 123 senior appearances for Ebbsfleet having been in their youth squad since 2006.

In his 6th season with us at Meadowbank, Matt was born and raised in Tyneside and is a graduate of the famous Wallsend Boys Club and Blackburn FC. A pacey winger feared by full backs, he has a great goal scoring record with many important match winning strikes since his arrival and has been part of 2 promotion winning squads.

Another summer signing, Brighton born Wes  played professionally for Bournemouth and Portsmouth and  made over 400 senior appearances for several other south coast teams including most recently Havant & Waterlooville where he played alongside Jason, Alfie and Ed in the National League.

Another ex Tanner, Dan joined Dorking in August 2019 and is now playing alongside his brother Jake. Midfielder Dan is a versatile player who regularly filled a gap in the heart of our defence last season. Having been at AFC Wimbledon since he was 10 years old Dan represented the first team during the 14/15 season before moving to Kingstonian and Leatherhead.

James McShane

In his 4th season with the club, 'Macca' is a naturally gifted and highly skilled footballer with an eye for goal. He has played for several Scottish League teams, and more locally for Chipstead, Egham and Molesey. 'Macca' has previously won both the manager and supporters player of the year awards.

A product of our youth pathway, James was deservedly given a first team squad number this season following some excellent performances for both our u18's and reserve teams, which included a fantastic solo goal in the FA Youth Cup at Barnet last season.

Jimmy signed for us last season from Bognor Regis with a reputation as a prolific goal scorer at his former clubs Brighton, Lewes and Bognor Regis. Known for his direct play and electric pace, he is a versatile player able to play in several positions.

George Membrillera

A pacey young forward with a fantastic goal scoring record, George is one of the first players from our academy to sign first team papers. Certain to have a future in semi-professional football he is one to watch over the coming seasons.

Since joining Dorking 5 years ago, 'Gezza' has scored some fantastic goals and he is renowned as a dead ball specialist. A legend at his home club of Woking, he scored 111 goals in 352 appearances for the Cardinals and also had the honour of playing for the England C team.

Bringing yet more experience to the midfield, Nicky joined us in January 2020 but injury kept him side-lined until the end of last season where he performed well in the play-offs. Having started at Charlton, Nicky went on to play for Tonbridge Angels, Dagenham, Billericay, and Woking.

Alfie Rutherford

Signed from Havant & Waterlooville, Alfie will renew the prolific partnership with Jason Prior that he enjoyed at both Bognor Regis and more recently Havant. Despite being only 22, Alfie has a wealth of non-league experience and including two full seasons playing in the National League.

A widely regarded striker who has now been with us for 3 seasons, Jason has Football League experience and signed for Wanderers ahead of the 2018-19 season from Havant & Waterlooville, where his 40 goals in 80 games had earned his team promotion to the National League. Jason netted 24 times in his first season with us and was just short of that figure last season. Previously he also played for Moneyfields, Dartford and Bognor Regis.
